Last week of benefits, options? - what worked for you?

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have savings for about a month. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
