The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. I am in Albuquerque, in case local advice matters. I am willing to take a temporary job. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
