Last week of benefits, options? - what worked for you?

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. Any experience at all would help. I have savings for about a month. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
