Last week of benefits, options? - what worked for you?

My unemployment benefits end in 8 weeks and I have not found work as an accountant. Thank you in advance. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
