The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. It has been a long 4 weeks. I have savings for about a month.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
