The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

Food pantries and community kitchens helped us stretch the budget. No shame in using them.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
