Last week of benefits, options? (update)

I exhausted my benefits and have 5 interviews lined up. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
