Last week of benefits, options? (update)

My unemployment benefits end in 26 weeks and I have not found work as a forklift operator. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am willing to take a temporary job. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
