Last week of benefits, options? (update)

I exhausted my benefits and have 6 interviews lined up. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
