Last week of benefits, options?, mechanic here

I exhausted my benefits and have 17 interviews lined up. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
