My unemployment benefits end in 17 weeks and I have not found work as an IT help-desk technician. It has been a long 17 weeks. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
