The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am willing to take a temporary job. Did you find short-term work?

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
