Last week of benefits, options? - first time posting

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. I worked as a marketing coordinator before this. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
