Last week of benefits, options? - first time posting

My unemployment benefits end in 21 weeks and I have not found work as a security officer. It has been a long 21 weeks. I have savings for about a month. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
