Last week of benefits, options?, electrician's helper here

My unemployment benefits end in 18 weeks and I have not found work as an electrician's helper. It has been a long 18 weeks. I have savings for about a month. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
