Last week of benefits, options?

My unemployment benefits end in 25 weeks and I have not found work as an accountant. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
