Last week of benefits, options? (Charlotte)

My unemployment benefits end in 8 weeks and I have not found work as a paralegal. I am in Charlotte, in case local advice matters. I am willing to take a temporary job. Where did you get help with bills?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
