The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have savings for about a month. Where did you get help with bills?

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
