Last week of benefits, options? - any advice?

My unemployment benefits end in 23 weeks and I have not found work as an accountant. It has been a long 23 weeks. I have savings for about a month. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
