Last week of benefits, options? after 18 years as an insurance claims processor

I exhausted my benefits and have 18 interviews lined up. It has been a long 16 weeks. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
