Last week of benefits, options? after 18 years as a bookkeeper

My unemployment benefits end in 19 weeks and I have not found work as a bookkeeper. I am in Buffalo, in case local advice matters. I am willing to take a temporary job. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
