Last week of benefits, options? after 17 years as a school bus driver

My unemployment benefits end in 3 weeks and I have not found work as a school bus driver. It has been a long 3 weeks. I have savings for about a month. Where did you get help with bills?

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
