Last week of benefits, options? after 13 years as an IT help-desk technician

My unemployment benefits end in 12 weeks and I have not found work as an IT help-desk technician. Any experience at all would help. I am willing to take a temporary job. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
