Last week of benefits, options?

My unemployment benefits end in 4 weeks and I have not found work as a customer-service rep. There are 11 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have savings for about a month. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
