Last week of benefits, options?

My unemployment benefits end in 14 weeks and I have not found work as a mechanic. I worked as a mechanic before this. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Where did you get help with bills?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
