Last week of benefits, options?

I exhausted my benefits and have 4 interviews lined up. It has been a long 3 weeks. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
