Last week of benefits, options? - 8 weeks in

My unemployment benefits end in 8 weeks and I have not found work as a graphic designer. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am willing to take a temporary job. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
