Last week of benefits, options?

My unemployment benefits end in 7 weeks and I have not found work as a web developer. Any experience at all would help. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
