Last week of benefits, options? - 5 months and counting

My unemployment benefits end in 7 weeks and I have not found work as a line cook. Thank you in advance. I have savings for about a month. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
