Last week of benefits, options? - 4 months and counting

My unemployment benefits end in 12 weeks and I have not found work as a line cook. I worked as a line cook before this. I have savings for about a month. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
