Last week of benefits, options?

My unemployment benefits end in 9 weeks and I have not found work as a welding apprentice. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
