Last week of benefits, options? - 23 weeks in

My unemployment benefits end in 23 weeks and I have not found work as a dental hygienist. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
