Last week of benefits, options? - 12 months and counting

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
