Laid off this week, where do I start? - what worked for you?

I lost my job as a welding apprentice and I am not sure what to do first. It has been weighing on me all week. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
