Laid off this week, where do I start? - what worked for you?

I was let go as a warehouse supervisor this week and I am still in shock. Any experience at all would help. I have not told my family yet. Which steps were urgent?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
