Laid off this week, where do I start? (update)

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 14 of us were let go. I had been there 14 years. I have not told my family yet.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
