Laid off this week, where do I start? (update)

I was let go as a procurement assistant this week and I am still in shock. There are 16 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
