Laid off this week, where do I start? (update)

I was let go as a delivery driver this week and I am still in shock. Thank you in advance. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
