Laid off this week, where do I start? (update)

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 15 of us were let go. I had been there 15 years. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due.

I made a short list: benefits, bills, documents, and then my résumé. One thing each day kept me steady.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
