Laid off this week, where do I start?, recruiter here

I was let go as a recruiter this week and I am still in shock. It has been weighing on me all week. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
