Laid off this week, where do I start? (Kansas City)

They called a meeting on Monday and 10 of us were let go. I had been there 10 years. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
