They called a meeting on Wednesday and 6 of us were let go. I had been there 6 years. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
