Laid off this week, where do I start?, home health aide here

I was let go as a home health aide this week and I am still in shock. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have not told my family yet.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
