Laid off this week, where do I start?, home health aide here

I lost my job as a home health aide and I am not sure what to do first. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Which steps were urgent?

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
