Laid off this week, where do I start? - first time posting

I lost my job as a software tester and I am not sure what to do first. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Which steps were urgent?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
