Laid off this week, where do I start? - first time posting

I lost my job as an event coordinator and I am not sure what to do first. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

I made a short list: benefits, bills, documents, and then my résumé. One thing each day kept me steady.
