Laid off this week, where do I start? - first time posting

I lost my job as a delivery driver and I am not sure what to do first. I am in Atlanta, in case local advice matters. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Which steps were urgent?

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
