Laid off this week, where do I start? (Detroit)

I was let go as an accounts payable clerk this week and I am still in shock. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have not told my family yet.

I made a short list: benefits, bills, documents, and then my résumé. One thing each day kept me steady.
