Laid off this week, where do I start?, call-centre agent here

They called a meeting on Tuesday and 12 of us were let go. I had been there 12 years. I worked as a call-centre agent before this. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
