Laid off this week, where do I start? - any advice?

They called a meeting on Monday and 5 of us were let go. I had been there 5 years. I worked as a store manager before this. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. What did you do in the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
